Crust Gourmet Pizza

Some of you who have been to the Crust at Holland Village would be familiar with what they have to offer. Crust serves pizza that are made from ingredients that are fresh, both in taste and in quality. They are definitely not one of those run-of-the-mills type of pizza places.

Crust first started out in Sydney in 2001 and 10 years into the business, they have over 100 outlets around Australia and two international branches. The two international branches are both located in Singapore - one in Holland Village and the other, the recently opened branch in Upper Thomson Road.

Ristorante da Valentino

Lamb Ragout with Penne

I’ve been to Valentino’s so many times now that I’ve lost count. But one thing remains for sure – Valentino’s has never once disappointed (Granted, prices here aren’t that cheap for family Italian dining). Oh and the panna cotta is still as good as before.

db Bistro Moderne

I enjoyed my first dining destination as part of the Asia’s Dining Destination which saw us having dinner at db Bistro Moderne, helmed by Executive Chef Stephane Istel (Pictured above holding a slab of Kagoshima beef ready to be split and plated for our table).

To be honest, my experience at db was perhaps the most enjoyable of the lot, so much so that when a close friend’s birthday came around, we both chose to have dinner at db (On our own expense, of course) To dine at a restaurant twice in the short span of 2 weeks says quite a bit, I’ll say. I’ll blog about that particular dining experience shortly too!

Osia

Ling Zhi Vegetarian Restaurant

Ling Zhi was a last minute change so we basically went in blindly, without research on what is worth the calories and what isn’t. Well, on hindsight, it was not a bad decision! I walked into the restaurant thinking, “Oh no…. Vegetarian Food” to “That was a great meal!” as I exited through the doors.

Entrance to the restaurant is via the lift lobby on the side of Liat Towers – right behind the ever-crowded taxi stand along Anguilla Park.
