Thank you for visiting my blog.
Born and raised in the sunny island of Singapore, I am, by and large, a foodie. Like my fellow Singaporeans, I love to explore and savour the flavours that the many different cuisines offer. From the spices of Indian food to the exotic tongues of Mediterranean cuisine, I am all for exciting my taste buds.
My blog is my documents the gastronomic journey that has taken me from Singapore, to Hong Kong and even to New York. The joy of food is not about fine dining or multi-course meals, the true happiness of food is when shared with others. While I may not have dined with you, I hope to share my happiness with you through my blog. You’ll come to realize that I not only blog about my adventures in trying out some of the chi-chi restaurants, there’s going to be posts on local favourites – which should be the focal point and the hallmark of the ‘Singapore Cuisine’.
What do you shoot with?
I am an avid photographer, albeit an amateur one. However, I believe that in every and any trade, having the most appropriate tools of the trade is most required. A food blog is only as interesting as its write up and photos. As cliche as it may sound, pictures say a thousand words. I shoot with a Canon 500D/Canon 7D, using either a Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro lens or a Canon EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 USM lens. On some occasions, in increasing occurences, I use my trusty Apple iPhone.
This blog represents my own personal views. If you agree or disagree with my views, please comment, as I would like to hear alternative views. Having a food blog is about making friends and meeting people with the same interests , so if you have views contrary to mine, please contact me.
